The Medical Office Assistant program teaches students the skills necessary for employment in a medical facility or physician's office. Upon completion of the Medical Office Assistant program, the student will possess the knowledge and skills required in the areas of anatomy & physiology, pathology, the body systems, medical terminology, medical front office procedures, and CPT 4 / ICD 9 billing and coding to function successfully in an entry level position as a Medical Office Assistant.
Our program is separated into learning units called modules. You must complete the modules in their entirety, in any sequence, to successfully complete this curriculum. Classes are available 24 hours a day. Students can complete the Medical Office Assistant online program within 6 months.
