Massage Therapy - Diploma Program (Campus-Based)*
Length of Program: 7 Months
According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, Employment of massage therapists is expected to increase by 20 percent from 2010 to 2020, faster than the average for all occupations. Employment will grow as more people learn about the benefits of massage therapy.
** Successful completion of the program qualifies graduates who meet all state requirements to sit for the Massage & Bodywork Licensing Examination (MBLEx).

The program prepares students to acquire knowledge and skills necessary for a career as a Massage Therapist. Students will be introduced to a vast knowledge base required in the areas of anatomy & physiology, pathology, the body systems, kinesiology, office procedures, bodywork and modalities including Swedish massage, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, shiatsu, sports massage, and much more. The program includes a balance of didactic classroom instruction and clinical experiences.
